I’m so happy to finally say… I’m back. ❤️

The past two months have been some of the hardest of my life as I’ve been grieving the loss of my brother. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with your prayers, kind words, and support. It has meant more than you know.

Creating has always been a source of comfort for me, and it feels good to be back in my sewing room doing what I love.

My first project back is something especially meaningful—College Jellycats! These adorable keepsake bears can be customized with college-themed fabrics and colors to celebrate a new chapter in life.

They can also be created as memory bears, lovingly made from a loved one’s clothing to preserve treasured memories for years to come. ❤️

Thank you for your patience while I took the time I needed. I’m looking forward to creating beautiful, meaningful keepsakes for you again.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave so much for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

A few years ago, I made this remembrance quilt (by Kreative Kiwi) for my husband as a tribute to those who served, sacrificed, and are forever in our hearts. Every stitch was made with gratitude, love, and remembrance.

Quilts have a way of telling stories without words — this one speaks of courage, sacrifice, family, and honor.

This Memorial Day, may we all take a moment to remember the heroes who never made it home and the families who carry their memory every day.

Pulled a sewing machine out of retirement tonight — a trusty little machine from 2002 is getting packed into my “to-go” bag. 🧵💕

Why? Because life doesn’t stop when exciting things are happening. I’m getting ready for an upcoming market while also preparing for one of the sweetest Mimi duties yet… babysitting child #1 while child #2 makes their grand entrance into the world. 🩵👶

There’s something special about balancing creativity, family, and the beautiful chaos of real life. One minute I’m organizing fabric and finishing projects, the next I’m packing snacks, pajamas, and a sewing machine that’s older than some adults. 😂

This weekend I’m stepping away from the fabric, the patterns, and the projects to spend some much-needed time with my parents. These moments—slow conversations, shared memories, simply being present—are a different kind of stitching. The kind that mends hearts and strengthens bonds.

The projects will wait. The thread will still be there. But time with the people who raised me? That’s something I’m choosing to hold close right now.
