🎵 SNEAK PEEK: A TO Z LOVE 🎵

Sometimes talent is discovered in the most unexpected places.

A few weeks ago, I was given a poem written by a man named LaTroy Daugherty. It wasn’t written in a recording studio or by a professional songwriter. It was simply written by a man deeply in love with his soulmate and courageous enough to put those feelings on paper.

When I read his words, I knew they deserved to be heard.

He wrote the poem.
I gave it sound.

Together, we created “A to Z Love.”

Introducing LT Soul, the artist persona created to bring LaTroy’s words to life through music.

Life doesn’t always place us where we want to be, but it never takes away our ability to create, dream, love, or inspire. Some voices just need someone willing to help amplify them.

I am honored that LaTroy trusted me with his work, and I can’t wait to see what else he creates in the future.

In Hawaii, leis are more than gifts… they are love, pride, sacrifice, celebration, and legacy woven together 🌺✨

This weekend, I had the honor of creating leis for Kaitlyn May, who received her Associate’s Degree last Friday and will walk across the stage for her High School graduation on Monday 🎓👏🏽

And trust me… we take leis VERY seriously here in Hawaii 😌🌺
When that graduate walks into the lei ceremony surrounded by family, flowers, money leis, hugs, cameras, and tears… it’s a moment you never forget.

As I transitioned into civilian life after retiring from the Army, I quickly realized how meaningful these celebrations are in the islands. What started as creating leis for friends and family slowly turned into a business built with love, creativity, and purpose.

Chey’Monique Creations started with leis… and as the business grew, so did my vision. Now we create for all kinds of moments and celebrations, but leis will always hold a special place in my heart 💕

Congratulations again to Kaitlyn May! Two major accomplishments back-to-back is AMAZING and we are so proud of you 🎓✨
