What a great group of creative ladies at the Ikebana Workshop on Saturday. They were the grandmother, mother and granddaughter - simply amazing women!

On another note - I will be taking vacation in September and will not have a workshop. However, reserve the second Saturday, October 10th for the next one. It will be worth the wait! =)

Also, all plants downstairs and upstairs are 20% off thru August! That includes the Mini Orchids, Bamboo, Blooming African Violets and a variety of houseplants. While supplies last I am giving a Rose soap to everyone who spends $7.50 at my store to say thank you for your continued patronage.

The Houseplant workshop was a big success! Everyone learned how to turn thier gardening brown thumb into a green one! Or at least some tips and tricks to work on it. We potted up a gorgeous, blooming African Violets and a Lucky Bamboo plant. This will definitely be class in the rotation!

Because there have been many request for the Japanese Ikebana workshop, we will do it on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 - 12:30. More information in the next few weeks. Thank you all for your love of plants and flowers. I don't feel like such a wierdo! =)

Karen created 2 beautiful bookmarkers for her next read and a masterpiece of framed floating flowers. Karen took the Ikebana class last month too! What I did not know is she drove all the way from Potomac, Missouri to take the classes - such a dellightful person. Hope to see YOU in the next workshop.

The next workshop is coming up June 6th! In addition to the framed pressed flower creations we will be making a tasseled bookmark too. Due to my increased prices I have to raise my workshop prices to $35. I will try to add more value where I can and make them a treasured experience. Hope to see there!
