WHAT A NIGHT!

This was something else. We never expected our first cosplay contest at the Gamers Alley Minicon to go this well!

To those who didn't attend we hope you give us a chance next year, and to those that did we can't thank you enough for creating a weekend of memories with us.

These photo and video are just some of those memories. We were over the moon with contest and just the pure excitement from both the crowd and the cosplayers.

You all nailed it and we can't wait to do it again!

I was sent a viral TikTok of one of our cosplayers walking across the street and into the Mini Con for our cosplay contest. It was funny seeing how many people had no clue what was going on. From the outside, I'm sure it looked a little weird. But for everyone who was there, you know exactly what it was. This is home. Gaston County made us, and we wouldn't have wanted to put this event anywhere else. We're proud of where we're from because this community made Gamers Alley what it is today. For one weekend, we got to create our own little world. Thousands of people came together to celebrate what they love, make new friends, and forget about everything else for a little while. For a couple of days, none of the outside noise mattered. All that mattered was the people in that room and the memories we made together. If you were there, thank you for helping make it something we'll never forget. And if you weren't, our world may be little, but there's always room for more.
