Finally, after almost 7 months of rooting, we have a few Heart of the Night plumerias. This is one of the darkest reds there is. In the past we sold mostly grafts but now, we are selling rooted as much as possible. This variety can be notoriously difficult to root. I have even had cuttings just sit for well over a year before deciding to actually root. LOL so, anyway, these are nicely rooted and ready to go. Here's a link:

From Kukiat in Thailand! Heart of the Night. Beautiful 3.5″ blooms of the deepest, darkest red imaginable! Flowers can appear almost black with good heat! Lovely, sweet fragrance completes th…

We just added four more Plumeria filifolia seedlings to the website. Many people are looking for this unusual and beautiful hybrid, with its spaghetti thin leaves and white flowers. It is native to Cuba, though all seeds and plants available now in the USA are strictly sourced within the USA. The Cuban Embargo has made it difficult to do any business in Cuba. If it weren't for private collectors several years ago visiting there and collecting plants and seeds with special permits as Botanists, we'd probably not have it at all here.
Anyway, I added four today. In another week, I'll be adding probably five more. These are very limited. Get them as seedlings, otherwise you will get a grafted plant. I love the seedlings so much more.
You can find them here:

This beautiful bushy plumeria is native to a Caribbean island that is a close neighbor to Florida, growing sometimes out of the lime rock. Its leaves resemble pine needles! So unique is this one! E…

This year, the temps have been so dang hot that we have had to start taking extra precautions to avoid heat stress during shipping. Granted, I loved shipping them in full leaf during spring but the last several weeks we have begun trimming off most of the leaves and then soaking the pots thoroughly 24 hours before shipping, regardless of if it has rained. Removing the leaves keeps them from pulling water from the tips and stalk. Soaking immediately afterward results in a well hydrated plant and therefore a lot fewer chances of heat stress upon arrival at their forever home. Placing them in the shade until packing is also very beneficial. The leaves will quickly grow back, no worries. Our intermittent summer rains have proven to be rather ineffective against this hellacious heat! Anyhoo, rest assured, when you order from us, the roots will be wrapped in well- dampened paper and sealed in a plastic bag as an extra precaution, as well. Pictured is one batch of orders going out tomorrow.

Beautiful Musk Rainbow aka George Brown has two faces and it seems kind of random at times when my two trees decide which of these faces to show. The first face is like what you see in my photos here now. The second face is a golden brown flower with distinct purple edges and a tiny orange center. The website listing shows this face. The fragrance reminds me a bit of strawberries. This is a true compact growing plant. My twenty year old planted in the ground is just a wee bit over six feet tall from the soil line and very branchy. Frequently, tips that bloom will split into three to five new growth tips (branches). A classic Plumeria! This is one you simply must have in your collection.
