Meet Shay, our beloved crochet needle mascot! 🧶✨ One year ago on August 12, 2025, Shay came to life, and what an incredible journey it’s been ever since. From putting bright smiles on children and adults at the Batavia Boardwalk Shops to spreading cozy energy during the Swedish Days festival, she has loved every second of connecting with our community! 🩷🧡💛

Back in 1982, Brad was an exchange student in Chile when his host family chipped in to buy him this beautiful, hand-crafted Chilean sweater. Even though it no longer fits, it holds far too many special memories to stay hidden away in a closet!

We’re so honored Brad trusted us with such a sentimental piece. Now, we’re upcycling this treasured sweater into an over-the-shoulder tote bag that he can carry with him every single day.
