We found only half of what we came searching for.

That half was the journey—the quiet beauty of 36 miles through ancient Appalachian wilderness, the thrill of the hunt, and the places few ever choose to wander, and the joy of all of this with my wife.

The other half though?
We searched above, below, and between, but the beautiful blue steel Appalachian Footpath Box remains just beyond our reach.

Our solve met the mountain, and the mountain had its own answers. Still, we crossed off possibilities, uncovered new clues, and narrowed the search.

Boots on Ground #2 has come to an end.
The hunt has not.

🥾 THE HUNT IS ON! 🗺️

Our next FIELD-SEARCH EXPEDITION is officially funded, and we're BOOTS ON GROUND into the Appalachian wilderness in search of the elusive and incredibly complex Appalachian Footpath Box from There's Treasure Inside for our 2nd time.

🏔️ The Appalachian Trail stretches nearly 2,200 miles through 14 states, weaving across rugged mountains, dense forests, remote ridgelines, hidden valleys, and countless side trails that disappear deep into the backcountry. It is one of America's greatest wilderness corridors. Somewhere within that vast landscape lies a handcrafted treasure box worth well over $100,000 💰—waiting for someone to solve the mystery.

🤝 This expedition wouldn't be possible without the incredible people who believe in our mission and the amazing people who hike, camp, and fellow treasure hunters that have helped equip our team with items, knowledge, and tactics. Every bit of support brings us one step closer to accomplishing what many believe is impossible.

🤖 Joining us on this expedition for the very first time is ATHENA, an experimental AI developed through OHASiS Predictive Intelligence. ATHENA will assist by organizing information, analyzing patterns, and supporting our search throughout the journey. The Appalachian Footpath Box has been my primary target before I ever got the book. This is hands down puts me at Little Rock Pond in VERMONT. I went boots on ground there a little over a year ago and got really great recon. Alot of theories are pulling away from this area..After much research and code breaking..nothing has taken from here as of yet. I have 3 fully searches funded for this one. Soon as the snow stays away we will be boots again. More pinpoint search areas. Longer stay. And a bigger team.

Here is a look of the Guild's checklist. The boxes alone are beautiful pieces of art.

1. The Appalachian Footpath Box
-I have gone Boot On Ground (BOG/BOTG) to Little Rock Pond in the Green Mountains in Vermont. Plans once winter in over to travel back for some heavily in depth search expeditions.

2. The Pokémon Box
- Speculation has my interest in NW Arkansas in the Ozarks.

3. The Forest Fenn Box
- Jon Collins Black has stated specifically that this box is somewhere north of Santa Fe NM in the Rockies. He has also stated that it is NOT in Yellowstone National Park.

4. The Past & Future Box
- I have no idea. A network of searcher have speculated it is in Hawking Hills in Ohio, which grabbed my attention. The clues are nowhere near enough confirming ot though. (If I have the clues figured out that it.)

5. THE LION'S SHARE BOX
- The largest of the boxes. Some are speculating Lake Tahoe. I have not begun any mapping or clue searching for this one. The clues are contained within the entire book front to back. There is no specific chapter. There are said to be over 50 clues. This came from JCB himself at a recent book signing Q&A in Las Vegas.

Note: At the recent Q&A, JCB has.mention3d that he checked the value of the treasure and what its worth has increased by over 80%. When the book was written the estimation was $3million.
