Another beautiful bowl almost done. White oak burl and epoxy. 14 1/2"x4". Still needs 1 more coat of finish. A couple days to make sure thats dried completely. Then a quick buff and polishing.

I had a person ask me this last weekend at Fairmount Farm Market about making duck calls. Here are some pictures of a few I have made. Wood species from left to right: Yellow heart, Leopard, Siberian Elm, Walnut, Leopard, and 2 European Ash (worm riddled and filled with Epoxy Resin). Next 2 pictures are different calls from the same Ash tree.

Finally finished turning one of the white oak burl bowls I've been working on. Here is a slow motion right after applying the first seal coat. Once dry it will be sanded smooth and 3 or 4 coats of finish added. Then polished to a high gloss shine. More to come.
