Who can believe how fast October is flying by?! Whew!

Here’s what we’ve got going on this week. Today is Love Your Bookstore Day 🥰 so we’d love it if you popped in and showed us some love today! The rest of the week looks pretty exciting too 😘

P.S. Once again, we are staunchly against Al. For some reason we continue to get slapped with the label. Do better Meta.

Uh oh - Did you miss out on Banned Books Week?

The good news is that Lark and Owl maintains a banned books display year round.

Here are just a few of the banned titles we currently have in stock:

• A Farewell to Arms
• To Kill a Mockingbird
• Fahrenheit 451
• 1984
• A Long Way Down
• Paradise Lost
• Animal Farm
• In Cold Blood
• The Scarlet Letter
• Anna Karenina
• All The Light We Cannot See
• Kite Runner
• Pride and Prejudice
• The Nightingale

Note that some of these titles are only banned in Texas, where our school districts have implemented some of the most stringent bans in the country. If you want to know how to fight the banning of books locally or nationwide, check out the graphic in our comments for some really good ideas 🚫📚
