💕 A Little Note About Pricing at Main Street Sweets.

I wanted to take a minute to talk about something that every small business owner eventually has to address — pricing.

When you order from Main Street Sweets, you aren’t just paying for chocolate, cake, or a few ingredients. You’re paying for the time, supplies, preparation, decorating, packaging, and attention to detail that goes into making your order specifically for you.

There are also a lot of costs behind the scenes that aren’t always visible — quality ingredients, chocolate and coatings, sticks, boxes, packaging, edible images and decorations, equipment, and all the little things it takes to turn ingredients into a finished order.

And then there’s the time. ❤️

Every cake disk, dipped Oreo, Rice Krispy treat, Dubai cup, cheesecake, and custom order is made by hand. That means mixing, baking, dipping, decorating, cleaning, packaging, and making sure everything looks the way I would want it to look if I were receiving it.

I know homemade treats can sometimes seem more expensive than something you can pick up at a grocery store, but they truly aren’t the same product. You’re getting something handmade, fresh, customized, and created by a small business that puts a lot of care into every single order.

I always try to keep my prices as reasonable as possible while still making sure I’m covering my costs and valuing the time and work that goes into what I make.

I appreciate every person who has ordered from me, recommended my business, shared a post, or supported Main Street Sweets in any way. Every order means more to my family and me than you probably realize. 🩷
