My products definitely reflect my own style, but I love when customers come to me with an idea that takes that style and mixes it with something that feels like them!

For example, one of the pieces I finished this week is my best-selling “Home Sweet Home” porch leaner, but instead of my usual colors, we changed up the paint colors to coordinate with their porch decor. Those little custom touches can be adapted to fit your own home, your colors, and your style. 🩵

Just a little scrap wood, some paint, and a questionable amount of time spent making something my kids will hold for approximately 30 seconds for a first-day-of-school picture. 😂 Good thing is that wood crafts can last for years to come!

So excited to have reached Star Seller status again for August on Etsy! 🌟

We’re heading into my favorite crafting season, and I’m slowly rolling out some of my favorite fall designs! 🍂

With the kids heading back to school, I’m looking forward to having a little more time in the workshop to create, and I’m so excited to start bringing these fall favorites back to life.

First up is a familiar face who has been part of my fall lineup for several seasons now…my mummy porch leaner! He’s just the right amount of spooky and charming, bringing plenty of Halloween spirit to your porch without feeling too scary or over-the-top.

I get asked this question all of the time: What kind of stapler do you use on your signs?!

I figured I’d finally highlight it in a video for you! I’m using the Craftsman Pushfire Heavy Duty Stapler. There are a few things I really love about it, but my favorites are the safety button, how easy it is to load, and how easily I can hold it steady when using it. So many others I’ve tried give the punch, but the price I pay is how heavy and awkward it is to use for my embellishments.

I know I've been a little quiet on here lately, but it's been the season of BIG signs! Between creating custom designs, figuring up quotes, and somehow finding enough room in both my workshop and my house to build multiple oversized projects at once, I've been spending more time making than posting.

When I started this business, one of my biggest goals was to create home decor that felt like it truly belonged in your home. Every order is a chance to create something that's personal, and that's still my favorite part of what I do.

It's been so much fun seeing these larger projects and custom orders come to life!

A little workshop update!

First, thank you all so much for your patience over the past few weeks. I’m happy to say my van is no longer under a tree, my saw is accessible again, and I’m back to being able to work on your orders! Everything is on track for the expected delivery times! 🎉

My van will soon be back in the repair shop for 2–3 weeks once the new parts are ordered, but I’ll have access to a truck when I need to pick up more wood, so I don’t anticipate any more delays. Here’s a quick snapshot of what I’m working on today (inside though, because 90 degrees feels a bit much for me at the moment 😆).

Today’s storms brought 60-70 mph wind gusts through our area, and unfortunately part of our neighbor’s tree came down onto my van and across the front of our garage, which also happens to be my workshop.

At this point, the tree is much too large for us to safely move ourselves, and because there was significant storm damage throughout the area, we don’t yet have a clear timeline for when professional help will be available.

Unfortunately, this means I currently can’t access my saws to cut wood or even leave to pick up additional materials while the cara and garage are blocked.

If you currently have an active order with me, I’ll be reaching out individually with updates if I expect any delays. I’m hoping disruption will be minimal, but I wanted to communicate early and ask for a little patience as we navigate this unexpected situation.
