I don’t know if you knew this, but I (Emily) taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 10 years. One of my most favorite parts of teaching was the beginning of the school year, and the excitement (and nerves, from us all) of welcoming a new pack of kids! Everyone was excited, the vibes were high and the energy was always fresh and new. I LOVED setting up a classroom that was warm and inviting, clean and organized, open and spacious, and a happy place for all.
As a mom, I’m on the other side of the 1st day of school jitters and joy. My goal now is to set my kids up for a new year feeling confident and feeling well. ✨
While I’m not setting up a classroom anymore, the shop becomes a place of the same intentions. We get to curate a carefully selected collection of things to help kids and parents with first day (and all year long) support. And a space that is warm, inviting, and a happy place for all!
