I would like to apologize for our long absence from social media. We have been in a very complicating and long process of hiring a new employee. I will have to say that this new employee has been asking quite a lot. 5 days after getting hired he decided to take time off to have open heart surgery and then he needed more time off to have surgery on his stomach. He says he’s done taking time off but we will have to see… I would like everyone to meet our newest edition to Rosebud Tackle, Reed William Taylor. He’s had a rough start to life but he is excited to start learning how to make your favorite fishing lures! We hope to see you at our next show and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time!

The Pope County High School Bass Fishing Team of Drake Taylor and Grayson Fritch made some Pope school history today. They are the 2026 IHSA Crab Orchard Lake Regional Champions. They had a winning weight of 15.38 pounds and the Drake had the big bass of the tourney at 5.26. This is the first bass fishing regional championship for PCHS Pirate fishing history! They advance to next week’s Sectional tournament on Lake of Egypt! Congratulations fellas! 🏴‍☠️

Sundays weigh in was absolutely amazing! In all the chaos of the last tournament day, we had not 1 but 2 Rosebud Tackle members place in the hourly weigh ins! Drake Taylor got 2nd in one of the hours and Brandon Taylor got 6th in another hour! So happy we could help you land those cash winning bass!
