Finally recovered enough from the Memorial Day shop accident. I didn’t post about it, it ruined my entire weekend. At 8:30 Saturday morning I had a small accident with the rotary grinder I use, it jumped from my hand and managed to smack two fingers. Needless to say, it hurt. I’ve hit my hand with hammers with less pain than this caused. I ended up going to the doctor Sunday morning, no stitches, but middle finger has a small fracture at the very tip. I couldn’t work, write, type for a few days. Still keeping the middle finger covered so I don’t snag the fingernail on anything.
I warn you the first picture isnt for squeamish people. Last picture is a week later, and 1.5 weeks later it looks about the same still, a little better. Most of the soreness is gone, still a little tender under the nail.
Work resumed last weekend, at a slow rate, hope to be back to full speed this weekend.

Last post for today is a Beretta 92 with an FRT. While this is really fun to shoot, its not very practical, lol. You cant hit anything unless you're feet from the target. It was still fun to tune and shoot though. Like the Vector, it takes a little practice on finger position to get a smooth run, but its not quite as picky as the Vector. Still working with the G***k FRT, ordering a 20lbs recoil spring to see if that gets it running properly.

Installed and played with a RATL-R in a 9mm Vector. They mention and show you how to place you finger on the trigger properly to get these to run correctly. I have to say, it is a learning curve to achieve that proper grip and finger position.

Here's a registered MKE AP53 I got the chance to tune and tweak a little. I have an HK53 and I prefer these over the AR platform. Although if you watch the background for the puffs of dirt, the brass gets scattered EVERYWHERE, unlike the AR which dumps it in a nice little area.

Done some more AR FRT testing this morning. Notice the nice little piles of brass they all make, this will be referenced in the MKE video I post shortly. I've done several of these now and can say I prefer the 3 position.

Another 4 built. Really wanted to test fire a bunch of things this afternoon, but just ran out of time. Maybe a trip in the morning tomorrow or after work, we will see.

Tested another AK with FRT. this one runs smooth. I forgot to turn on the mic though. What can I say, I'm not a camera man.

PPSH Semi testing

This is a customer's gun that was built by another company. He ask me to work out the bugs in it. He was having light strikes and feed issues. Outside of one failure to eject, looks like its running pretty good, and those rounds are surplus ammo with hard primers.

AK FRT testing

Here is a customer rifle I installed and tuned an FRT in. I'm not fond of this one, you can fell the trigger reset, and if you hold the trigger with too much pressure, it won't reset. you have to have just enough pressure to break the trigger and hold that tension as the trigger pushes forward to reset and then breaks after the bolt closes. it takes a bit of learning to get the trigger pressure correct. and the trigger moves a mile under reset. if you watch close, that's not me releasing the trigger, it's the FRT doing what it's supposed to.
This AK has the tightest fitting mags I've ever seen on an AK.

This is another FRT I was tuning for a customer. I’ve done quite a few of these for him, and I don’t care for the FRT and suppressor combo. While it’s quiet, you have a tendency to inhale a lot of gases due to the suppressor.
