FIELD TRIP DAY 📣
Today was a great day for an adventure at the Nature Institute for homeschoolers. They learned all about MIGRATION 🦋 They made a craft, went exploring, and played a game…plus they made new friends and played with boys their age today. (I think that’s called socialization 😉)

Butterflies, pollinators, and a little Meadow Magic!

Homeschool families, The Nature Institute is turning the meadow into a classroom on Wednesday, September 9.

During ECO Homeschool Adventures: Meadow Magic, Middle & High School students will learn about local pollinators, discover which plants attract them, and even catch and tag Monarch butterflies while the season’s last pollinators are still active. This session is drop-off only.

We listen to Carpooling With Jesus on Apple Podcasts while the kiddos are eating breakfast. It’s a good ice breaker and a way to get Jesus in their mind and on their heart to start the day. There have been many times that I refer back to the podcast to remind them what they learned and how they can put it into practice. Or maybe the scripture for the day sends to pop up later in the day and they’ll connect the dots.

In this day ands age it is that big of a deal. It isn’t personal against the school district. It isn’t because of the teachers or students. It’s just the world right now.

If God has led me to do this, then I’m doing this.
