I truly can’t thank my pattern testers enough for contributing their time, knowledge, expertise, attention to detail, and over all support over the last month!
They were key in helping me prepare for the launch of the Lakeshore quilt pattern (out now on my website raisingreaquilts.com!!) You all contributed something special to this project and I admire each of you and the talent you all have!

The wait is finally over!

The Lakeshore quilt pattern is yours. 🤍

After months of planning, designing, and writing (I made the very first version of the pattern back in April!), then spending all of July refining every detail alongside my incredible pattern testers, it’s finally time for you to make your own version of Lakeshore.

The Lakeshore Quilt is inspired by the traditional and beautiful Lemoyne Star, (sometimes called “Lemon Star”) but does not use any tricky Y seams! I am glad to be able to include such a beloved block into this quilt design.

The pattern is now available for purchase through the link in my profile, which will take you directly to my website, www.raisingreaquilts.com. If you’d prefer a printed copy shipped to your door, you can also order one from Mandasbandanas , Calliope Quilts , or Ash & Elm Quiltery . (Ash & Elm has quilt kits available too!)

The journey from idea to design to writing to testing to completion has taught me so much and I absolutely cannot wait to show you all what I have up my sleeve next!

The backing is a
super soft blanket from AmazOn that my longarmer friend recommended! I used a SUPER scrappy binding from fabric I had left from making the quilt top and tote bag! The tote bag pattern is the "Everyday Market Tote" from longarm quilting done by in Zeeland, MI
The pantograph is called "spin" and I went with a warm gold thread and I'm loving it so much.
