I guessed it was the Munson passing by and I was right, to a small amount of people that might be pretty cool. A fun day was had exploring big sable point again. (15k steps)

After a month of this painting being in purgatory on my kitchen wall it finally clicked what I needed to change.

Distance, as in stepping back, throughout paintings gives me a lot of clarity in the process. But sometimes you just have to endure time to give you clarity. Such is life.

See you this weekend in east Lansing. Debuting so many new works from winter for the first time. Excited to see other artists’ new works and hopefully get a chance to collect as well. This is a well curated and attended event. (I also get to stay at my Oma’s house :) )

I have a corner booth for this first show to display many new works because of the abundant selection.

This photo is from my trial run last weekend. I will not be bringing my large Grand Haven works as I’m saving them for the gallery and grand haven art festival next month.

Expect all of my other subjects (beachgoers, waterscapes, dunes, boats, nocturnes, and forest scenes) as well as Mackinac island.
