Huge Thank You to Max and the crew at Dondelinger Ford CDJR for being a Title Sponsor for this years Thunder In The Pines Youth Mountain Bike Race Series!

REGISTRATION and Race Course will go live in the next day or two.

Registration will close the day before each event so that we can be best prepared for the racers!

A HUGE shoutout to Dondelinger Ford - Each racer will receive a number plate that they get to KEEP! And will be expected to bring to each race if they choose to race multiple races.

Broken down as follows
*Sprouts = 3-5yrs old (no training wheels)
- focus on basic coordination through “foot races” or balance bikes
*Cadets = 6-8yrs old
- introduce fundamental racing lines. And sportsmanship
*Junior = 9-12
- develop “race craft” strategy, sportsmanship, positive attitude and hard work

We Are PROUD To Announce the first-ever year of the Thunder In The Pines Youth MTB Race Series! This brand-new youth mountain bike series is 100% FREE, offering a fun, safe, and cost-free racing experience for kids in the pines.
📅 2026 Race Schedule
• Race 1: Thursday, June 18, 2026
• Race 2: Thursday, July 16, 2026
• Race 3: Thursday, August 13, 2026
📍 Event Details
• Location: Tioga Recreation Area (all three races)
• Start Time: 7:00 PM
• Cost: Completely free!
• Who: Boys and girls ages 3 to 12.
🚵 Race Format
• Courses: FUN, age-appropriate short courses.
• Groups: Racers are split up by age.
• Bikes: Balance bikes and pedal bikes welcome.
📝 Participation Rules
• Gear: Helmets are strictly mandatory.
• Adults: Parents must stay on-site.
• Perks: Free race plates and finisher medals
