We live in the middle of nowhere, this sometimes is an issue because my husband likes to go ice fishing and we rarely make the drive into the city for him to get what he needs. Whenever we did make the drive - the big box stores just didn't have what we were looking for. Thus, 6 years ago my engineering husband decided to make a rattle reel that fits our family needs. With 2 kids and a golden - we

need to keep our fishing lines out of the way but didn't want to sacrifice our chances of catching some eyes. Our rattle reel is a single, one-piece unit that connects directly to the arm mount. The mount installs easily inside your ice fishing sleeve: simply drill two small holes, slide the mount in, and secure it with the included wing nuts. When youā€™re done fishing or want to store it, the rattle reel removes in seconds.
The ā€œrattleā€ itself is made from genuine duck reed material, producing an incredibly loud, attention-grabbing sound.
