This buisness established in memory of my Uncle Butch Starnes who got me into bait making started with painting Hard Baits while he was on hospice to pass the time and make memories. This business was started in memory of my Uncle Butch Starnes (AKA Uncle BS). Uncle BS got myself and my Boys Austin & Chase into painting hard fishing baits when he was placed on hospice in 2021. Uncle BS had a great

love for the outdoors and fishing. He got me on the lake at a very young age along with my two sons when they were old enough to hold a fishing pole. He instilled in us the respect and love of God’s creation. While on hospice in a time of Covid 19 he told me he would love to learn to make fishing baits, and this is where it began. We would spend hours painting baits and Cuttin up as he called it making memories. Sadly, he passed away on Oct 9, 2021, I took a break from making baits. Short time later I met someone who got me back into making baits and taught me how to make soft plastics. My boys and myself decided that we wanted to just cut up and make baits togeather and make memories like we once did with Uncle BS. So, we established Uncle BS Bait Company. We will offer hard baits; soft baits lead jigs and other fishing tackle. Keep your eyes posted on things to come as we start this new journey in memory of Unlce BS.

Sorry for the long post wanted to let eveyone know whats been going on the past few days and im very blessed to be writting this message. We serve an awesome God. I know some folks know and some folks dont know but the past few days have been some of the scariest I've ever experienced in my life. It all started this past Thursday I woke up not feeling great. I was not able to walk far without getting SOB and very dizzy amd lethargic. I laid back down for a little bit, got up had to take Austin to a Dr appt even though I felt terrible I took him. On way back from his appointment I told him I think my Afib is acting up lets stop by EMS and have them verify. As I thought I was in afib and slightly hypotensive. LCEMS transported to st Francis down town. Upon arriving at ED staff worked to get me out of Afib which they were successful amd sent me home even though I had told them I was dizzy and SOB they informed me should get better that was due to Afib. I made my way home.Upon arriving home I attempted to go inside my home to my bedroom and passed out as I made it to my bed. Austin called 911 LCFD amd EMS came out and found I was hypotensive after rest bp came more stable. I then wavered and just wanted to rest. Fast foward to Friday woke up feeling a little better but that evening after walkin from bed to living room I became lethargic again and felt like I was going to pass out. Lil voice AKA "GOD" said go back to Ed. So was taken back to greenville by my family to st Francis to be evaluated. The entire time I was just thinking i was hypotensive due to being dehydrated. Upon arriving at ED test was run my triponin levels were still elevated and other blood work was abnormal. DR Ordered a CT scan and while in CT machine I got really sick and having even more difficult time breathing. After staffs care returned back to room where ED Dr informed me I had a massive saddle bilateral pulmonary embolism and I needed to be transported immediately to st Francis down town for surgery. The most scariest moment of my life due to my career i know most do not survive these and that fight or flight i learn sbout and teach about began to sink in. I began praying and everyone that knew about was going on began praying.Upon arriving down town was placed in room and monitored remained slightly hypotensive and tachycardic. Surgery was performed first thing Saturday morning and 98% of the clot was removed. Dr informed me that the rest would resolve over the next few weeks after being placed on blood thinners and rest. After three days in hospital stay I was released today and I am home recovering and getting my strength back. Its gonna be a long recovery but I will make it. So continued prayers for myself and family. We serve an awesome God and he is always with is even when were doubting at times he never leaves our side.Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Thanks to all my family and friends that came to hospital and have been praying keep them coming Gods got bigger plans for me. Also thanks mostly GOD for giving me another day. Thanks to my family LCEMS, LCFD ST Francis staff med trust all treated me with great care during this ordeal.
