The Pilot Mountain and Three Bears Gully Tee. This iconic mountain features one of the most popular sport climbing crags in the southeast. It’s a really special place and such an important part in North Carolina climbing culture because so many people come here to climb real rock for the first time, or to cut their teeth on sport or even trad. We love it. we celebrate it. ⛰️🧗🧸❤️

The Table Rock Tee. Inspired by one of the most defining features of the Linville Gorge in North Carolina. We just posted a really cool video about a meaningful Table Rock first ascent on a route called the Quiver. Go check it out, it’s a great piece of Appalachian Climbing history. ⛰️🧗

Doug Reed has more than 600 first ascents, and you’ve probably seen his name beside many classic routes. He is one of the most prolific route developers of his generation and he is an Appalachian Climbing legend. We got to go along with him and Appalachian Climbing School to climb the Quiver 5.7+ at Table Rock on the 50th anniversary of his FA of the route. Unfortunately a summer storm stopped us mid-climb, but we still got to chat with him about what was one of his very first FAs.
