Some weddings remind you exactly why you love what you do. 🤍
This weekend I had the privilege of serving as day-of coordinator for one of the sweetest families Julie Duerstock Nobbe & rachel.nobbe. After years of watching Rachel grow into the beautiful person she is, it was such an honor to walk alongside her and Andrew to help bring their day together.
Like every wedding, we had a few unexpected hurdles, but what stood out most was the bride and groom, their families, and the entire bridal party. No one let the challenges steal the joy. Everyone was committed to making the day beautiful, and that’s exactly what happened.
A few “firsts” for me-
-17,500 steps. 😅-Cleaning up two pans of gravy that tumbled out of a refrigerator after ednobbs hunted me down in the bathroom 🤪
-Accompanying the bride and groom into a 100° warehouse because getting incredible photos was worth it. Brady Domingo & clarissasimonphotography
-Getting locked out of the venue with the entire wedding party
-Helping pull off an awesome late night hot dog stand
- And my favorite, gaining a new honorary niece, which means I now have the privilege of being called Aunt Sheri. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I worked with the best DJs in this areadan_slaven (dance floor packed all night) met an incredible photographer and videographer, worked alongside some fun bartend ers (Jennifer & Travis Nobbe) caught up with old friends, and had my daughter by my side as my assistant, which made the day even more special.
Wedding days are never perfect, but they are filled with moments that become unforgettable. I’m so grateful I get to be a small part of such meaningful days, and weekends like this make me even more excited to continue growing this part of my business.
