Last weeks destination took us to Greenwood Missouri what is a destination it’s where you can find several antique shops and a few non-antique shops in one area.
This week our destination is THE MARKETPLACE in LOWRY CITY MISSOURI!
The market place is on 13 HWY and for those lake goers you probably pass it on your way depending on where you are coming from.
The Marketplace is an area where find antiques, a great coffee shop/sandwich shop they even have a green house!
Start your shopping experience with a visit to FOUR FILLY’S for coffee and pastry with Coffe in hand you are ready to start shopping for quality Antiques as well as som Vintage and Collectables.
First up the Charming Cottage by Chloe, this cottage is set up like a home were you can picture the items in a home setting! It is always put together so well!
Next up
The Red Rooster Antiques true to its name “Antiques” it’s filled with Quality Antiques with a few vintage and collectibles. The Red Rooster has two other areas separate from the main mall.
The BARN is as you would expect in a barn and has a lot of out door stationary, architectural items with a few garden items,
The GARAGE is set up to find bargains as well as treasure it has been refurbished and is a beautiful area with cold AC for your comfort while shopping. The owner JoAnn is so nice, and helpful and always wearing a smile!
After shopping these areas head back over to FOUR FILLY’s to refuel with a sandwich and cool drink. Shop their boutique area full of beautiful clothing and jewelry!
Now you are ready to explore the
greenhouse!
SILKWOOD BLOOMS has quickly become my favorite shop for Herbs, Garden plants/flowers, Cut Flowers and Succulents. They create beautiful planters, hanging baskets and Make stunning bouquets take one home and buy one for a friend! Their prices are great! They have planted a ton of Mums so you know where to buy your Fall blooms!
If you thought this was the end of your roadtrip think again there are 3 more Antique Shops on 13 HWY close by (Rusty Mule, Moccasin Trails and Trade Fair) there are also several shops just a few miles away in Clinton Mo! ( some of the Clinton shops are only opened on weekends but a few are open during the week!)
Destinations we will visit soon, St Joseph, Lexington, Ozark, Springfield, Jefferson City and later this Fall we will head to Farmington and St Genevieve areas!
