I have always been hesitant about cutting petunias back but this basket made me a believer.

3 weeks ago this pot had branches that were 18 inches long, skinny stems and should have gone in the trash so I decided we had nothing to lose. I cut it back to 6 inches and look at it today.

I spent quite a few hours in the greenhouse the past two days and it was a bit warm BUT our customers were in a buying mode and made my day.

Today a lady wanted to start her designing her pots and we found plants that met her sun requirements.

Then she came back and she meant business. She was equipped with more pot sizes and made loading much easier. Our customers really make my day. This is the first time I planted on a pickups end gate.

Our plants were scared last night with the big blow that went through our area. BUT not one plant was injured.

Many plants were sold yesterday and the Kleins crew is very appreciative. Our goal is to have the greenhouse cleared out by Monday at the latest.

I have always liked dianthus and they are not advertised as perennials but the first picture shows a plant blooming for its second summer. The second picture is blooming for its third summer. Rescue these cuties and fill up your beds.

I would have never believed that I would pay money for single impatiens!!!!

Last year I planted them because we had some leftover. (Actually the boss said sell them orrrrr). I bought the flat and stuffed them into a couple pots and they turned out beautiful. They lasted until frost. Come take a look.
