I am heading to my first event conference this week and figured it was time to do a little introduction for anyone that’s new here.
Hi, I am Mariana! I live in Metro Detroit with my husband, 2 dogs & a kitty cat. I love all things traveling, gardening, planning & creating unforgettable experiences. Detroit Verde is a planning and design company, specializing in bespoke rentals, custom stationery and one of a kind events.
I started Detroit Verde in 2025 because I wanted to build a career that took advantage of my love for design. I was working as an autonomous vehicle engineer at the time but had a daily reminder that I was not doing something that I loved and I was letting my creativity suffer while I kept pretending. So last May, I put away my engineer hat and gained 12 more: planner, designer, builder, painter, accountant, etc. 😂🙈
Fast forward to 10 months later, I am in awe of the things we have accomplished and the community we have built. I am so excited and so thankful to continue growing this company with you all.
