The Buchanan County Board of Supervisors will honor Paul Elswick, tomorrow October 9th at the Big Rock Park. The Big Rock Park will become the Paul D. Elswick Memorial Park in his honor. The family would like to invite the public to the event in which we hope you’ll join us for. Paul loved and served his community for numerous years. Any and all current and past employees of Paul’s Fans we invite to come out to the event as well as the public. The event will include refreshments that will be served throughout the day. Along with bounce house for the kids and games. The event will be from 11am to 5pm. The event will also feature Sandy Shortridge that will be performing at 2pm.

Public Notice:

Opening ceremonies for The Wall That Heals -- a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be held Thursday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at Poplar Gap Park! Admission is free! The Wall will be on display in Grundy 24 hours a day through Sunday, May 9, closing at 2 p.m. on Sunday. An honors ceremony is planned for Saturday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. and closing ceremonies are set for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The event is hosted by Riding It Forward Inc.
