The Weaver booth got a proper restock — the kind where you have to make a slow lap because there are good little things tucked everywhere.

Lots of vintage kitchenware, glassware, linens, cozy shelf pieces, a few fall touches, and some wonderfully specific “why do I love this so much?” finds. Think warm lamps, patterned dishes, copper molds, cottage-y pieces, colorful glass, and the sort of objects that make a room feel collected instead of decorated overnight.

If you’re local, this is a good weekend to wander through.

Vintage is never just about the object. Half the time it is about the feeling attached to it.

A Pyrex bowl. A certain lamp. One very specific set of glasses. A strange little trinket dish nobody else would care about but you would spot from across the room.

The rooms people remember are usually the ones with a little personality in them. The odd lamp. The inherited dishware. The weird little framed print. The things that make a house feel lived in instead of staged.

There is something so good about giving old paper, forgotten scraps, and tiny bits of ephemera a second life. Junk journaling feels a lot like vintage decorating to us — layered, personal, a little nostalgic, and full of charm.

It is not about making something flawless. It is about making something that feels like you.

Take a little tour with me through this cottage-chic kitchen corner at Vintage Georgie’s Route 11 booth.

We’ve got blue-and-white speckled pieces, red gingham, floral glasses, old kitchen tools, vintage mugs, and the kind of dishes that make you want to suddenly become someone who bakes pies and uses the good plates on a Tuesday.
