Jon has been busy giving my studio door a refresh. I'm excited that my treasured fox knocker will be hung soon! It was one of my first purchases for Old Crow Cottage before we had even officially signed on the dotted line. I'll be stepping in after the next coat of blue to add my own touches. The honeysuckle we planted last year is starting to do it's thing. 🥰

I'm still at it! I've taken a break from posting and worrying about filming everything. It's lead to spending about 5-10 minutes a day on Facecrack and a lot less scrolling time on IG. It's just too frigging noisy out there! Though, I have to say, I miss my IG friends whom I've never met. My artsy soul sisters... you KNOW who you are! 😘 I'll get back at it eventually. 😊

So! Still playing with paper clay and swag lamps. It's been a challenge with some missteps and successes. Taking a break from social media has helped clear my mind!

Swag lamp in process. Yes I'm still playing and finding my way with paper clay. I've made some pieces that haven't felt quite right. But that's okay, because I'm truly enjoying the journey! I already have 12 hours into this piece and so far, it feels more like me than any other I've made thus far. Of course it's inspired by my own surroundings here at Old Crow Cottage. 💗

Another trek in the books with Mom and Cub! Destination: The annual smelt fry hosted by in Columbia Falls. A great cause for fish restoration in Maine!

We also made a pitstop to and I have to say, it was much bigger than I thought! There's every flavor of cheesecake deliciousness under the sun! Highly recommend this gem! 🥰

I'm still working on swag lamps, but haven't recorded much of the process like I normally do. Honestly, it's been nice to unplug some and just live in my own little world. 😉 The first lamp has taken me days. Between sanding, layers of clay and drying times, there's a lot of hours and patience involved, but I've loved every minute of it! The 3rd photo is a second lamp that is going to sit outside in the sun, and hopefully will be ready to pop from the mold later. These pieces will be part of an installation set for June if everything goes as planned. 🥰
