August is chock full of fun events. This Thursday 8/6 at 6pm we welcome author Susan Bernhard for a reading of her new novel, Westerly. Friday 8/7 join us for Jennifer Ogden’s First Friday art opening from 5-7. Saturday 8/8 we’ll have local author L. Allen Strate signing his new book from 11-1. Tuesday 8/11 at 6pm is Literature of the Resistance, reading The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin. Rounding out the month is Banned Books Club on Wednesday 8/26 at 6pm discussing The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Don’t forget our weekly storytime on Thursdays at 10am and our weekly Knitting Circle on Thursday evenings from 5-7.

Four events left in July! Join us over at the Ravalli County Museum tomorrow (7/28) at 7pm for a fascinating conversation between author Peter Stark and museum director Michelle Nowling around Stark’s new book, The Lost Cities of El Norte. Wednesday (7/29) at 6pm at the store we’ll be discussing the graphic novel Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi for Banned Books club. Thursday (7/30) has two events, Storytime at 10am and drop-in crafting circle at 5pm. A little something for everyone!

Lots of great events coming up this month, starting tomorrow, 7/11, with Sue Kerver signing her new book The Starfish Chronicles from 11-1. Wednesday 7/15 brings Miriam Horn in conversation with Skip Horner at the store at 6pm for her book Homesick for a World Unknown. Tuesday 7/28 join us at the Ravalli County Museum at 7pm for a conversation between Peter Stark and the museum’s Executive Director, Michelle Nowling about his new book The Lost Cities of El Norte. The following evening 7/29 is Banned Books Club discussing Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis at the store at 6pm. We also have kid’s storytime every Thursday at 10am and a Knitting (or crocheting) circle every Thursday at 5pm. A little something for everyone!
