Join the hilarious John DaCosse for a 5-week comedy adventure designed to help you find your funny, build your confidence, and maybe discover that you have a whole lot more to say than you thought. Auditions are just around the corner. The holiday magic is getting closer. And we need ONE MORE GREAT PERSON to join RCSA's The Santa Switch team!

We are currently seeking a Teacher Assistant, age 18+, for our upcoming holiday production.

We’re looking for someone who is:
🎄 Reliable
🎄 Responsible
🎄 Local to Chicago or the surrounding suburbs
🎄 Able to commute to the RCSA Studios and Raue Center with reliable transportation (train, car, bike, sleigh and reindeer...)
🎄 Comfortable working with both kids and adults
🎄 Ready to jump in, help out, and be part of a busy production environment

No theatre experience? That’s okay! What matters most is that you genuinely enjoy working with people, especially young performers, and can be counted on when you say you’ll be there.

Originally, this position was listed as 21+, but we are happy to consider applicants 18 and older.

Raue Center School For The Arts is seeking a suburban or Chicago based Teacher Assistant for our upcoming production of The Santa Switch: A Holiday Jukebox Musical!

We originally accepted applicants 21+, but we're opening the door to 18+ applicants depending on experience! If you’re responsible, energetic, great with students, and ready to jump into the wonderfully chaotic world of musical theatre, we want to hear from you!

Your friends have been telling you for years that you should do stand-up. So this is your sign. We've just added our incredible Sitting Down to Stand-Up comedy class for adults THIS FALL!!!

Whether you’ve always wanted to try stand-up or you’ve got enough material rattling around in your brain to fill a Netflix special, this class is your chance to learn, create, perform, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

And it all leads to a Showcase/Graduation on the Raue stage! 🎭

Today, the Raue Center wasn't just filled with people...it was filled with Gina. ❤️

The theatre and arts community came together today to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Regina Belt-Daniels, Gina to so many of us.

And her presence could be felt everywhere.

In the laughter that came from stories shared.
In the tears brought on by memories and videos.
In her favorite scene.
In the music and songs that she loved.
And in the countless people whose lives she touched.

Gina was a pillar of the arts community and a fierce believer in the power of the arts to bring people together. She advocated for arts access and opportunity for all, and she believed that every person should have the chance to find their voice, discover their creativity, and experience the magic of the stage. Her love for people, her friends, and even those that she perhaps didn't necessarily personally know (like the strangers in a restaurant she was in), was something that made her such a beautiful and wonderful soul. From all the shows she directed, students she taught, people she met on her travels, articles she wrote for the paper, and everything else she accomplished...her impact stretched far and wide!

Gina was such a tremendous supporter of arts education. In honor of Gina Belt-Daniels, donations are being collected to support scholarships and programming through Raue Center School For The Arts (RCSA). Please consider making a donation in Gina's name. Enrollment for The Santa Switch is filling quickly, and we now have ONLY A FEW STUDENT SPOTS LEFT! If you have a young performer ages 7–18 who’s ready to jump into a hilarious, heartwarming holiday adventure, NOW is the time to get them enrolled!
