Palmetto Cheese Biscuits
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 stick butter, cold and cut into pea size cubes
1 cup Palmetto Cheese from our fridge case
1/2 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons cold water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
Using a pastry cutter or fork cut the butter into the flour mixture until the butter pieces are combined with the flour and resemble coarse crumbs.
Stir in pimento cheese, sour cream, and water.
Place dough onto a floured surface and using a rolling pin, roll out to 1-inch thickness.
Cut biscuits into 16 (2-inch) squares and place onto prepared sheet pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
