We have some exciting news to share! As much as we have loved our tiny store we need more space. We will be moving over to the solstice building near the bank this fall. Watch for updates on when we will open! In the meantime, come support us on Tuesdays and Sundays so we can buy shelves, racks and all that jazz!

As we transition to fall I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has shopped, donated and spread the word to help make this my first successful summer in the shop! With all of our employees heading back to school we will have reduced hours starting next week. I still work another job and we all know how hard the end of the season hits as we get ready for winter.

I will still be open when I can and will post every time I’m open. Look for the open sign to be lit up and pop in to shop!

The longer I’m in the thrift business the more I see the big picture of clothing waste. Just this month alone I took over 60 bags of clothing to Fairbanks! I keep a lot, but I don’t have room for it all, so I keep things that are in excellent condition that I think I can resell or up-cycle. I sort and donate the bedding where it can help others, and some goes to animal shelters as well. We need to think more about buying sustainable and up-cycled clothing before we hit that purchase button, do we really need it?

If you are donating clothing please try to remember that the clothes should be clean and gently used. Also if you fill huge yard bags I cannot lift them,they rip and I have to rebag everything. I am providing a service and this is a very small business. I am not a body builder or a garbage dump. Be considerate!

Keep a look out for our rack of TriValley gear! We will have the rack up sometime the first week of August and all purchases from that rack will be donated to the music and sports programs at the school! 💙💛
