All of these preserved painted decorated and resin horseshoe crabs have sold in just one day, actually one morning…, two of them never left my home… I had requests from the show and went hunting today for more specimens. The preservation process starts and some of them are already close to done thanks to nature…. I hope to come back for the oyster festival this fall! These are available for custom order… they do range in price for size and pattern so reach out with your needs and I will create you one of the first and most amazing, horseshoe crab artwork.

I just got done restocking the shelves at Tom’s Cove Campground Store. The campground is packed and the new store and management is fantastic.! hopes of you can come and check out the new artwork.

I hope to see some familiar faces tomorrow morning at the Chincoteague Island Cultural Alliance Farmer’s and Artisan’s market on Church St from 9-1pm. I also have a display at Tom’s Cove Campground camp store if you’re not able to make it to the market. The market gives you the opportunity to see everything I presently have for sale, including my new line of horseshoe crabs.

These guys take a long time from start to finish, but are so worth the collection, preservation and decorating of each one! Last layer of resin is going on now and they will be heading south to Chincoteague Island for sale this weekend. Price range from $48-$98.

My sister purchased this before it could reach the market…. A labor of love for sure since I’ve been collecting these horseshoe crabs for years/months…. Drying and preserving. (only the already deceased.). And transforming them into beautiful artwork.. I hope you enjoy and look forward to the rest of this new venture.. there are some beautiful designs!
