This masterclass is for all brass players — trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba — as well as teachers and students who want to deepen their understanding of brass performance and pedagogy.

Why has CHI Brass been pretty quiet on social media since last Friday? We received 125 brand New Sergio Carolino mouthpieces freshly plated. Each was unwrapped inspected and then packed into CHI boxes. We also had to take photos and update our website. We now have Sergio Carolino CC mouthpieces available in Heavy Medium and Light Weights and the F1 and F2 models available in Heavy and Medium weights. The CC models we have standard and Euro Shanks and the F models American and Standard shanks available. Check them out at CHIBRass.com and look under our artist collections to easily find the Sergio models.

October marks CHI Brass' 3rd year anniversary of making tuba mouthpieces. Starting with just 1 model, the JS Helleberg, we added a few more in year two and now, in 2026, many more models. Great players around the world are now using them, and 5 of the world's best players have asked us to create Signature models for them. Today, I started boxing up 4 dealer orders that will be complete as soon as I get the new Sergio Carolino signature models in from plating, and that box is on its way to me now. These boxes are going to our incredible dealers: Professor Mouthpiece, Rose City Instruments, Tuba Man Plus in Japan, and our newest dealer, Trovador Musica in Portugal. This will be over 150 mouthpieces, plus some cutaways and rims on a stick, going out the door in a few days. We also ran out of our first 1,000 CHI Mouthpiece boxes and had to get another 1,000 made!

Also we will soon be receiving the first batch of Tucci Vintage 50 mouthpieces made just like the old school 50 was. More on that soon!
