Thread Your Path Sewing Studio Sewing School and Supply featuring natural fiber apparel fabrics, new and pre-loved.

New and pre-loved modern and vintage notions, tools, and other fiber supply. We also offer sewing classes for all ages in a patient, inclusive environment.

🧵 Have you ever made a Cut & Sew?? I love these projects. They are all printed on a single panel of fabric.

🧵 Pieces and instructions all in one. You just cut them and assemble. They are a great low-risk project with fun results. You can even use scraps to stuff it!!

🧵 Check out our super fun afterschool program for ages 8+ at Thread Your Path in Hillsborough, NC!

🧵 We use the tried and true Sewciety Kids curriculum to give kids a well rounded sewing experience.

🧵 6 week sessions of once/week classes. Each session students make one apparel and one non-apparel project.

🧵 Students can join in any session. We keep our classes small so students are all able to work on projects at whatever level they are at.

🧵 Students who cannot operate a sewing machine independently must take a Beginner Workshop. Info and registration for both are on our website, www.ThreadYourPath.com

🧵Kids 7 and up can learn to cut, pin, sew, read a basic pattern, and make a drawstring bag of their own. No experience necessary.

🧵 Learn to mend your clothes! Or come pass on your mending knowledge, or just come work on your mending in community!

🧵 Skills and supplies an are provided, no experience necessary.

🧵 November workshop includes an all gender, all ages clothing swap!!

🧵 How it works:
*You’ll find tables with gently used clothing available to go home with you.

*Please ensure the items you bring are clean (freshly laundered), and help sort any items you bring onto the appropriate tables. You are not required to bring an item to attend the swap. We’ll have plenty!

*While we’ll take care of donating leftovers, please do shop around to see if there’s something you’d like to take home! Fewer leftovers is less work for our volunteer team.

*We will have mending tools and advice available, so bring an item in need of repair or add a unique patch to something new to you.
