In 2020, I began growing flowers to press and dry.

In 2023, I started selling botanical art made from those flowers.

In 2024, Honest Bloom Studio became the home for the flowers and the art from our farm, Honest Desires Farm.

In 2025, I shifted my focus toward larger pieces and heirloom art created for others.

In 2026, I am using more than twenty five years of art, design, and growing experience to create meaningful heirloom pieces that preserve your stories in botanical form.

Pulling some beautiful clematis out of the press today. This is from my personal garden and collection.

I will probably make an original art piece later in the summer with it. I have several bridal bouquets and memorial flowers in the presses that are almost finished. Can’t wait to see them!

(My art desk has been with me since my college days. It isn’t pretty or fancy but it has helped me make all sorts of art. I have felt embarrassed to share picture of it because it isn’t exactly Instagram worthy, but it is where so many projects rest to be completed. Art is messy and beautiful and often imperfect and I would miss this desk and our 26+ years together! Be prepared to see lots of flowers on their less than perfect surface. 😅🌸)
