The breaker didn’t trip! The cooktop stoped working. Very dangerous condition. I’m glad I stuck to my verify there is not power before removing the cover to the box. I could have been electrocuted!

The only Washing Machine I find socks in are GE top loads. It seems to happen when taking the clean clothes out. They fall in between the top of the tub and the lid opening.

Front load Whirlpool washer without a filter opening on the front. You have to pull the washer out, take multiple screws out to get the back off so you can have access to the pump filter under the washer tub on the right side of the drain pump. Make sure to use a wet dry vac to get most of the water out of the tub. Then empty the wet dry vac because there will still be a good bit of water still inside the washer that will all come pouring out when you remove the filter. Whirlpool dryer will power on but wont start. Usually the thermal fuse that has blown. One of the most common causes for the fuse to blow is the venting to the outside is stopped up.
