🌸Lowell moves away from the Islands🌸

After causing widespread flooding on Kauaʻi, in good news Hurricane Lowell is now officially moving away from the Hawaiian Islands.



Although Lowell is travelling northwest further into the Pacific, a Hurricane Warning remains in effect for Kauaʻi County and a Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Oʻahu.

🌸Hurricane Lowell update🌸

Hurricane Lowell is now just west of Niihau as it continues on a northward path as a Category 2 hurricane.

At 11 p.m. Monday, Lowell’s center was 90 miles west of Lihue, or 190 miles west-northwest of Honolulu and was moving to the north-northeast at 18 miles per hour. ⬇
