Rain on me
Help me see.
Will I be a part of the flood
Or will you abolish me?
The trumpets shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise.
Regardless of our sins, but they are forgiven, we're going to see our prize.
Jesus is our main component,
While Satan is our demonic opponent.
We must stand firm, knowing, that sometimes we fall down, but we can get back up,
Which is what Jesus meant when He passed the cup.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Being a Christian doesn't mean you have to live your life in a bubble.
Sometimes in life, when it rains, it pours.
That is God talking to you,
You have to be willing to listen in order to move forward.
He is a God of listening, love, and hope,
And in the midst of the rain, He's pouring His heart to you, first, to help you cope.
As humans, we run to the first thing we can find to help us survive, drinking, drugs, I've told someone before, ain't no hope when you're on that dope.
Life is like an old game I recall, Follow the Leader.
Keeping in mind, God is the Leader.
We are His Children, His followers
So who are we to murmur, when we don't get answers right away or turn into a sour puss?
If you're looking for a way of communication, listen to the rain.
Listen to God, His line is always open, and you'll have so much comfort and knowledge to gain.
Always there when you need him,
Never afraid to go out on a limb.
All a part of life
He is the Light!

The devil wants me dead.
Everyday he follows me to see where I'd lay my head.
He wants me to rest. Come thou weary one lay down. Thy head upon my breast.
Falling to my knees, knowing there's transgressions that need be addressed.
Lucifer you're not ready, not for this girl.
I don't quit. I don't walk away, I don't bow or bend.
Even though in the past I've given into sin.
Now is not the time to quit, I know God is on my side.
Seizures, abused, itching, still by his His Word I'll abide.
Isn't it something devil how you can't get me to leave God alone?
Because I know at the end of the day He still sits on the throne.
The more I write, you wanna fight, my chest gets tight.
So I'll just scream IN THE NAME OF JESUS... Because He can save me.
Now Open the flood gates of Heaven, so only He can amaze me.

"Look at you. You are beautiful", said a woman I had never met. She asked me to try a dress on. "Girl you are gorgeous, why do you doubt yourself?" Again she told me to look in the mirror. Down the street, I could hear Verion: DC! DC! Wifey! He saw me in the boutique, and asked if I was okay. The store owner began to tell him, I was just telling...DC how beautiful she is. He replied, I tell her that all the time, but DC you gotta see that for yourself Love.
Flirtation, Compliments, and one laying it on thick at times feels GREAT, but until you remove the clay from your eyes and see the Beauty that God created..."You'll always be single" tbc

In a dream last night, the outside appeared the same, as I still remember Josephine St.. When I walked into the corner store, Wilberts, it was completely changed. No more gumballs, tootsie roll pops, pig lips or Big Shots. It was a dine-in. Couples, families and seniors having a good time. Not too much had changed or was taken from third ward. There was even a section for you to play checkers.
As it is with today's generation. Their outward appearance to some, may say: he's still a thug, he did time, he sees the streets as a second home, but when you converse with these...Children of God, you can learn there is so much more behind the mask.

I spoke w/an associate yesterday while trying to sell a few books. He said he wanted to write, but then said, he can't bc he had a problem w/keeping still for too long (ADHD). Hearing the words he can't bothered bothered me. It takes persistence. It takes perseverance, my friends. In having that, you would succeed in much more than you could ever imagine.

Yes, I studied Psychology, but in years after I learned a lot more. So if anyone can, please tell me, what differs the three: schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, and dissociative identity disorder.

I was with an acquaintance recently who was having a bad day. He had had WAY TOO much to drink and I asked him why he didn't slow down, I saw so much better in him. His response was...it comes from my daddy.
When you think about it, true, things like, alcoholism, smoking, personality disorders, etc., can be generational curses. But those curses CAN be BROKEN.
It's really up to us.

It appears, from my, intentions, those who are ex-cons have shorter attention spans. (No judgment is meant at all) Is this new...meaning, due to, the virus, or, 2018 and thereabout. It's new to me, because you would say, this being "my first real relationship", "first family", "business"...this is "A Whole New World"
