Swords like this are why I keep the forge burning.
A thousand years ago, a blade like this was a man's most prized possession — carried on the trail, passed to his son, and laid to rest with its owner. The steel changed. The tools changed. But the reason a person wants a real, hand-forged blade in their hands? That hasn't changed at all.
This one was made the old way: drawn from the billet, shaped under the hammer, ground and finished by hand. Every line in that fuller, every bit of work in the hilt — someone's hands did that. That's the part no factory can stamp onto a blade.
