"Is it easy to write a picture book?" That's a question I get a lot, especially since there are now more than 40 of them. :) The answer is - it depends! If the Almighty pours down all the ideas for a book right away, then it's easy.

But then there is a book like this. This simple looking book took around 30 years to write.

The Almighty drizzled the concepts down through the years, and I kept re-writing the manuscript, trying to include each new soul-watering drop. But after each new insight was added, it was still missing something. I just didn't know what that could possibly be!

Recently, thank G!d, there was a thunder and lightning kind of learning, providing the major Torah insight that was needed for the book to finally be ready. Now children can understand - and joyfully review - how to outsmart the yetzer hara (the inner adversary) - using its very own tricks!

This new and hopefully game-changing book is endorsed by Torah Umesorah! It is now available on The Goetz Bookshop website created and run by my youngest sweet children - before it gets to the bookstores!

May it help many children learn from an early age, the most effective and delightful ways to overcome our natural and persistent inner adversary!
