I’m hoping to get these little beauties ready before this Saturday’s art show!

These are 4x4 flower tiles, and I’ve been experimenting with a new technique. All I do is add alcohol to push the ink that’s already in the background, letting it move and create its own patterns.

I think they turned out pretty interesting! I love exploring, experimenting, and discovering new ways to work with color. Sometimes the best things come from simply trying something different.

That’s the fun of creating… you never know what you might discover!

Come see me this Saturday, November 7, at the First Saturday Art Market in the Houston Heights!

📍 540 W. 19th St., Houston, TX 77008
⏰ 11 AM – 6 PM

Come browse, enjoy local art, and maybe find a little something special to take home!

Have you heard of ACEO cards?

ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They are small pieces of original artwork, measuring just 2.5 x 3.5 inches (the size of a standard trading card).

Think of them as little pieces of art you can collect, display, trade, or gift! They are an affordable way to start an art collection or add something unique to your existing one.

I’ll have a collection of my alcohol ink ACEO cards available this Saturday at the First Saturday Art Market!

You can browse and choose your favorites right from my display stand, or get a little surprise by purchasing one through my Art Vend Machine.

Whether you’re an art collector or simply love beautiful colors, there’s a little piece of art waiting for you!

Come find your favorite!

I went into a dark phase… but don’t worry, it didn’t last long!

You know me, I’m all about COLOR! But every now and then, I have to step outside my comfort zone and try something different.

And honestly, I want to create some art for my Millennial peeps who, for some reason, absolutely LOVE these color combos.

So here I am, experimenting, playing, and letting those inks do their thing. Who knows? I might just grow to love this darker side… but don’t count on it!

A little pop of red against a sea of turquoise and golden yellow. ❤️

These two poppies came to life with alcohol inks, letting the colors flow and the unexpected details take shape. I love how the vibrant red stands out against the soft, textured background.

What do you think of this one?

Some pieces just have a special place in your heart, and this is definitely one of them. ❤️

The Dancing Triplets is approximately 13 x 19 inches, this is one of my larger alcohol ink pieces, and I remember how much I loved watching these flowers come to life. The soft coral and blush petals against the turquoise and green background make me think of a garden full of movement, color, and life.

As always, the inks have a mind of their own, and part of the beauty is letting them do what they want while I guide them along the way.

I think this one will always be one of my favorites.
