I haven’t written or posted lately, things change in your life, most importantly family, health, and a willingness to just do what you want to do.
That being said; I’m no longer guiding trips; I realized I was putting way too much pressure on myself to be able to put my clients on fish, provide a very safe trip with nothing but smiles once we were done for the day.
I’ve absolutely enjoyed all my clients that took a chance and “booked” with me.
Some were a “bit” different, and so many were such a blast, especially the kids, absolutely enjoyed those times (so many times).
I’ve since sold my boat, still love to fish and I can always recommend several fantastic fishing guides that will make your trip with you and your family trips to remember!
Lastly, my thoughts on getting started with seasoned guides giving me the (tips and tricks), was beyond amazing, thanks to you all, I’ve learned so much and was able to pass on, especially the kiddos!
I’ll still be fishing, when I want. And I always will recommend guides that I know that you and your family will make memories with so don’t hesitate to call.

Well folks,it’s our typical Spring, winds are pumping (to extremes at times), but the trout (surf runners) are slowly making there way in, Reds are still here and the bigger reds will be moving in as typical within the next couple of months! Dear guys and gals, I haven’t posted in a while and wanted to let you know why. It’s been a tough year starting with knee surgery earlier in the year and a slow recovery. Recently, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, we are dealing with that now with the best doctors in the world at MD Anderson. As soon as we have a schedule down pat, I will resume booking trips. We WILL defeat this!!! Please feel free to contact me if you’d like a trip for now and I will do my best to make your trip with a professional guide a great trip to remember. Tight lines!
