As with so many small businesses, we struggle to find start up capital and establish lines of credit. For cooperatives, the challenge is even harder because most financial institutions do not know or are not willing to finance and employee owned and operated businesses. Lucky for us, Seed Commons is financially sophisticated enough and actually cares about community, literally putting "their money where their mouth is". Thanks for meeting with us and learning about our business.

We were honored to be invited by the CEO for Houston Habitat for Humanity, Allison Hay, to join in celebrating President Jimmy Carter's extraordinary life and service.

Our project manager extraordinaire, Donna Subulade, attended the celebration at Houston Public Library Downtown – Barbara Bush Literacy Plaza and signed the memorial wall in his memory.
