Some final shipments before my wedding are dropped off at USPS and UPS
Also live is the F9F-5 preorder, expected to ship late May/early June after the F9F-2, starting with The Blue Tail Fly, and the addition of Maj. Bernard Fisher's AD-5 paint scheme due to popular demand.

One thing that I forgot to mention.
Though the GSB Skyraiders and Panthers are beautiful, my subjects will focus mostly on Navy and Air Force airframes.

If you have a love for Marine aircrafts please make your decal request with Flying Leathernecks Scale Creations since Dave is more knowlegeable in Marines subjects than I ever will be.

Warning, long post.

I will close the shop from Wednesday, April 22 to Sunday, May 3 for our wedding this Saturday, April 25.

To celebrate our wedding I'll have 25% off (before shipping) across the whole shop for the duration since we get married on the 25th.

My mom is stable now, but we still have a surgery ahead scheduled late May since we don't know if it's cancer or a benign tumor yet. Then it was my wife's turn with medical issues. I just can't have a break.
They are both fine now finally.

In the mean time I had my family members dropping the canopies off and now I'm going through the list and emails to see if I miss anyone. If you haven't received yours please give me a shout and I'll ship it our asap before Wednesday. Most AD-5 kits ordered are being shipped out by then too.

The F9F decals is delayed and so far it's expected to arrive just in time before my wedding this weekend so I'll ship the F9Fs out after I return on May 2nd or 3rd.

I've added the final 2 AD-5 variants, the AD-5S and AD-5U (UA-1E), concluding the 5 variants of the AD-5 family, along with a new orange over white test scheme for the stock AD-5.

I'm also working to have the AD-4W and F9F-5 up for preorder before closing shop, just have to finish designing and decal drawing.

Hi guys, some important updates.

My mom went to the ER and then the hospital on Sunday and now I and my brother are taking turn taking care of her, with me doing the day shift, so shipping will be paused for a day or two until I can arrange things to have my brother or my wife drop the packages off since we change shift before UPS opens and after it closes.

I do have my laptop with me but it's not really suitable for big jobs like designing whole kit so I'll have to wait until I get home to continue working on the F9F-5 and other projects, only accessories and decals during the day.

Test print of the outer wing with pretty much all panel lines added along with the cutout for the wing fold hinges. It's missing some other minor details since this print is pretty much to test the print angle, not final print

Now the big question is, to rivet or not to rivet? While rivets always look cool on model and I have it all there on the file already, but the actual F9Fs are pretty much smooth.

Also some more schemes for the F9F-2 but I'll have to do some more researches on the engine gray one, online sources said that Bu.No. started life as a -5 and while Warpaint book lists it as a -2 that coverted into a -2KD, they use a mix of -2 wing and seemingly -5 fuselage, the tail at least.

Also I've started going through the canopy list and have dropped off some today, expect the rest to be shippee within next week

Took me a while to draw this side profile but finally it's done

The F9F-2 preorder is live from now through March 25th. For my customers who have already bought my products there will be a 10% discount automatically applied when you add the F9F to your cart within the pre-order period.

I'll post the build up of the test kit gradually from now to the end of the week. Also for those who ordered the clear AD-5 canopies, expect your tracking number this week and those whose emails and messages haven't been replied I'll do so within the next few days too.

Thanks for all your supports on the resin canopy replacement program. Things are progressing nicely, the last pieces are just finished today along with the replacement cockpit bulkheads and sliding canopy tracks. Only the bulkheads for the AD-5W and 5N to print since they have the mounting key for the radar operators' consoles while the 5 and 5Q doesn't

On Monday I'll sort and pack them and since this is not through the web store give me some time to go through the list and addresses to ship to you all.

Also finally got the chance to glue together the F9F-2 that I printed from last update. Things seem to fit so far and some minor shape adjustments might be needed.

I'll be at Winterblitz at College Station tomorrow if you want to see these stuffs
