Good morning!

I have had some excitement over here at the Hive, and without going into too much detail, we went from a two car family down to a no car family...and we are still a two job family so that really makes things difficult! I need a down payment on a car, stat. They won't take quilts, only cash.

I know it's hot out right now, but the holidays are fast approaching! 134 days left until Christmas! A beautiful, handmade, one of a kind quilt is one of the nicest gifts a person can receive. There's nothing cozier in the wintertime than sitting under a handmade quilt with a cup of hot cocoa and a kitten, reading a book. What book are you looking forward to reading next? I'm always looking to grow my reading list!

My kids and husband are always geeeeently sliding the ironing board out from in front of the TV. When Jonny was running for Junior Mr. Rodeo, he came and asked me, "Mom, I know you don't use it for that, but my shirt has a curly collar. Will you iron it for me?"

He's right. I DON'T use it for that....but for my boy I'll do just about anything!
