The 1st ever Kobe Bryant Day at CoolxDad is in the books!!!

Shoutout to Kev, Don P, and the rest of the team at CoolxDad for making this dream a possibility. Ever since Kobe's untimely passing in 2020 a seed was planted in my mind: I have to do a Kobe Capsule 🧠🤯💭

One by one each item you see in this video was collected over the past 6 years during my treasure hunts at the thrift. During this time my art evolved from rap to curated vintage to buildouts and installations. When the NBA on NBC returned this season they had this beautiful installation they created that immediately transported you to the 90s 😍 That day a vision was born and a path was forged. This is what I want to do with my art. This is my offering to the muses.

Basketball is my first love.

Special thanks to E X W O N . A R T ® for donating a beautiful 20x30 art print of Kobe Bryant. It will live on display at Cullen Middle School in the CoolxDad Room to serve as an inspiration to hundreds of aspiring students.

Here is your official style guide for Scenes & Soundtrax: House Party Edition. The vibe is 90s House Party fly, so come dressed to be immersed in the world of House Party and ready to step all the way into the experience.

We will be diving into the film through its scenes, score, and soundtrack, alongside live interactions, specialty drinks, vendors, dancing, and a curated conversation around the film’s cultural impact, its music, and of course the fashion.
