Last year I was asked by Brenda Morrison to embroider a quilt square that would represent NC on a quilt for the President of Kappa Kappa Iota. All the other participating states sent their squares in and the quilt was presented this June at their National Meeting.
Shout out to the 2025-2026 State Presidents on their creativity in making this gift for their 2025-2026 National President, Brenda Hope.


I also learned that Kappa Kappa Iota is a nonprofit supporting and serving

To celebrate my "Mama," for her birthday this year I put together this sentimental tote made with fabric from all 4 of her daughters' baby blankets. Carolyn Efird is "Mawmaw" to her grandkids, so the back of the tote has some fabric from a few baby blankets to represent her grandkids. 🥺☺️

The four letters that make up the word "Mama" have fabric from each daughter's baby blanket in birth order: 1. Jessica 2. Jamie 3. Jeneane and 4. Jordan
