I’m so excited to announce that I am teaching my first classes at University Pickers on October 18 and 24! I’ll be teaching basic handbuilding techniques including slab building and the slump method of making a dish. Other skills will be taught, such as how to add texture to your pieces with rollers and stamps. On the second day of the class you’ll glaze the items you made. After firing, you’ll take home several ornaments and small dishes you can use for the holidays or for gifts (items will be delivered to University Pickers approximately one week after the second class date). You can see some of my work on my web site and Instagram. (Sign up here for the first class: https://www.universitypickers.com/events/introduction-to-stoneware-clay-part-1-handbuilding/ -tickets__tickets-form. And here for the second class: https://www.universitypickers.com/events/introduction-to-stoneware-clay-part-2-glazing/ -tickets__tickets-form)
