Madison County Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

We are looking to obtain a 5'x10' enclosed utility trailer for use by the Law Enforcement Torch Run north Alabama area. A rough cost estimate is around $2,000, but they can be had cheaper/more expensive. If you have a trailer like this that you would like to donate, please let us know.

Otherwise, we will be accepting donations so that we can eventually purchase one. Both options are tax deductible. The trailer would be registered to Special Olympics of Alabama and would be used solely for Torch Run functions in the North Alabama area. We have a company that will put our decals on the trailer for us. If you are a business that donates the entire trailer or a significant portion of the cost, we can discuss putting your business name on the trailer to give you credit for your donation.

Just a reminder, the Torch Run will start tomorrow morning at the Madison County Courthouse at 7:15am. We will have plenty of shirts available for sale, $12 each and we accept cash, checks, and cards. See you all in the morning!

Cops on Top 2018 starts today! We'll be at Wal-Mart on Highway 72 in a Madison today from 10am-10p, tomorrow (Saturday) from 8am-10p, and Sunday from 12pm-until we shut down. We'll have the 2018 Torch Run shirts as well as fresh Krispy Kreme donuts for sale and all proceeds go to Special Olympics of Alabama! Come see us!

Okay folks, it's that time again! The 2018 Torch Run shirts are in! We have sizes Small to 3XL and they are $12 each. You can contact Investigator Locke or Deputy Black with the Madison County Sheriff's Office or Detective Wilkerson with the Madison Police Department to purchase one.

We will also have the shirts on sale at our annual Cops On Top at Wal-Mart on Highway 72 on April 20-22, 2018. Exact times for this event will be made available in the near future.
